How to move to SSD a power edge T320?

Hello,

I have a power edge T320, with 2 HDD in RAID 1. RAID is made by the built in PERC S110.

I would like to move to SSD, but I just read on PERC manual that I can't mix SSD with HDD on the same virtual disk.

My idea was to substitute an HDD at time with a SSD, the raid would have done the job. Unfortunately seems I can't do it.

How can I clone the HDD to SSD so I can switch to SSD?

I tried clonezilla to clone disks, but it can't.

Iory,

The only supported process would be to backup the data, create the new VD with the SSD's, then migrate data over to the new VD. This is only if the OS isn't on the original raid you're replacing, if it is then you will have to migrate the data to external storage, then create the new VD and install the OS. Then you could migrate the data back.
