IDRAC8 Update to 2.61.60.60 fail
Hello, Dell Poweredge730 IDRAC8 2.50.50.50 --> Upgrade to 2.61.60.60 failed. At OS 2012R2 it failes with "no acces to virtual device" after some minutes. At IDrac update the upload was okay but it is pendig with "downloading" on job queue for several hours. BIOS Update was okay after 5 times to try. racadm racreset & racadm jobque delete -i I have done. Jobqueue is empyt but I can't upgrade. Any ideas? Thanks for help

You might try upgrading outside the OS. Both the iDRAC web GUI and the lifecycle controller will let you stage updates, but the iDRAC will let you do run the updates while online. It would get around any potential issues with Windows, too.

Have you tried a power drain yet? If not, it would be the next thing I would go for. That would just involved unplugging the server's power, then holding the power button down for 30 seconds, then reconnecting.
The iDRAC update should only restart the iDRAC, not restart Windows. If you can, I'd run hardware diagnostics or review the hardware logs around the time of the shutdown to see if you can get any further detail.
