M1000 and network pass-throughs

We have an M1000 which has 1G 16 port pass-throughs in the  A and B  fabrics and a FC module in the C fabric. My question is about network adapters. We have been getting conflicting information. Does a full height card get 8 network connections, 4 from the A fabric and 4 from the B fabric? Are all 8 interfaces available to the installed operating system?

Sstins,

You would need to clarify the specific passthroughs you are using. Do you have the part or model number. The reason I ask as they are all pretty different, so to be specific is why I ask.

Let me know what you find.

That is a 16port. You will have 16 ports on each fiber. Now the ports will alternate back and forth on the channels So 1a, 2b, etc.

Let me know if this helps.
