M620 stuck at 'Initializing' after dsu firmware upgrade

I have an M620 that seems to have a firmware upgrade go bad. The blade is in a remote data center. The blade is out of warranty. I ran dsu from the console to upgrade Ethernet Drivers, iDRAC Lifecycle Controller Firmware and BIOS. I reboot the server and it comes up with 'Initializing' and never progresses beyond that. I have tried 1. Swapping blade to another chassis 2. Draining flea power on blade (Removed blade, held power button for 15 seconds, inserted blade) 3. Several removal/insertion of blade 4. Used CMC to for 'iDRAC Reset' The blade is in the powered off state. Attemps to poweron from the CMC interface results in a warning dialog 'iDRAC not ready'. Is there any way to resurrect this? I could potentially call in Dell for time and materials assuming that this could be rescued but given the age of the blade, it really isn't worthwhile to replace parts.

Hello

The CMC needs to be able to communicate with the iDRAC before the blade will power on. If the iDRAC is not initializing then you shouldn't be able to power on the blade. The first obstacle to overcome should be iDRAC initialization.

I would check the CMC to see if it is listing firmware revisions. If the CMC is listing firmware revisions for the blade then check the revisions against the updates you just applied. If any of the hardware does not list the correct update then remove that hardware if possible. If that does not allow the iDRAC to initialize then start taking the system to minimum to POST. You can also clear NVRAM via jumper. Minimum to POST and clearing NVRAM via jumper are the only options if the system will not power on. You can try restarting the chassis and making sure the CMC is up to date, but that is not likely to affect the issue. You can find documentation on the chassis support page.
