Max harddrive size for T110?

Hi

What is the maximum hard drive size that I can use with my Poweredge T110?
Do you need me to find the name of the mobo for you to help me with this?

Using onboard SATA ports you would have to use the 2TB drives.

HappyAmateur,

The largest drive we offer for the T110 is a 3TB Hitachi (part number CWJ92). Now that being said, the only controller that supports that drive is the H700.

If you have any other controller you can use a 2TB drive (part number 341-9722)

Let me know if this helps.

Hi

I find this (C1 4HD - NO RAID WITH ON-BOARD SATA CON) when I logged in at the dell website and had a look at my system. Is this enough to say if it is 3tb or 2tb?

Ok, thank you.

Now I know maximum size is 2tb.

Have a nice day.......

My t110 has the Perc 6/i controller and raid cage. Does this have the same 2TB limitation? I'm trying to repurpose it and that limitation is hindering it's usefulness.

Hi @MickBurke,

Can you confirm if it's PERC6i? I am sure that T110 would not be able to support PERC6i, or you did manage to make it work on T110?

PERC6i does able to support 2TB drive.
