NIC teaming on PE415 at hardware level
Hi,
I'm trying to team up 2 network adapters in my server. I know I can do this within Windows, but the teaming options aren't providing the functionality I'm after which is load balanced inbound and outbound (basically to increased overall bandwidth). After looking about for a solution I saw that there should be a Broadcom/QLogic piece of software that will do this.
The adapters in the server are showing up as QLogic BCM5716C and have the latest firmware and drivers applied, however if I try and use the QConvergeConsole CLI they do not show up.
Is there something I'm missing? Or another piece of software I should be using?
I've tried various combinations of the Windows NIC teaming and though that selecting Switch Dependant with Dynamic load balancing should do the trick, but it didn't, the inbound traffic would only hit one adapter.
OS installed is Hyper-V Server 2016.
