PE 1850 PV 745N USB emulation

Hi !

I recently got a problem on my PE 1850 and PV 745n servers,

The "USB Flash drive emulation type" appears blue with "Auto" value and it can't be changed,

I've set USB on with BIOS support and tried to boot with and without my usb drive and tried front and backside, different USB drives, but without success.

If anyone knows how to change it, i'd like to set it to HDD emulation because Auto set it to Floppy.

Thanks !

RE: PE 1850 PV 745N USB emulation

Nojja,

First thing I would look in to is if the USB controller is enable. If you access the BIOS (F2) and then select Integrated Devices, you will see the USB controller listed. What is it currently set to? It would need to be set to "On with BIOS support." If it is then would you let me know what BIOS version you are currently at, to see if it is an issue with versions.

Let me know what you see.

RE: PE 1850 PV 745N USB emulation

Hi,

Thanks for your answer,

The USB controller was already set to On with BIOS support.

On the PE1850 it's rev. A05

And rev. A03 on the PV745n

Thanks
