PE R620 Firmware Updates

Hello All,

I'm attempting to update the firmware on three PE R620 servers using the Lifecycle controller via FTP and I'm receiving the following errors on two of the servers. The third server updated without incident.  I've check and rechecked the network settings and the firewall settings and all are configured properly.

What repository location is it trying to access? Try both ftp.dell.com and ftp.us.dell.com

I've been using ftp.dell.com, I will attempt ftp.us.dell.com and let you know. Thanks for the quick response.

What OS is installed on the system, we can try updates a different way, and see if those update properly.

When using ftp.us.dell.com the FTP catalog resolution was much faster however after selecting updates and attempting to download them I still receive the SUP0531 Error.

if you go to step 2, the bottom link is for Test Network Connection, does that work or does it fail? Also, what versions of idrac and Lifecycle controller firmware do you have on the system at this point?

Ok, in that case we can’t update within the OS but we can use the repository manager to create a disk with the updates. Or you can use the same tool with a vcenter plugin to run updates
