1 thing that I'm unsure is about the GPU that you're installing. As this GPU is not listed on Dell's tested GPU, therefore it's unsure it might work. But do let us know if the GPU works fine, so we can put this thread for good working GPU on T430.
RE: the GPU - this works flawlessly on a PE T420 with a SilverStone SST-PP06B-PCIE55 (from Amazon UK), so I assumed (and sincerely hope) it will work on the T430. It hasn't so far and tells me to connect the correct power, thus my open thread about the cable to use.

Tried with an N08NH cable from a T630, works flawlessly!!! Back in action now.
