PowerEdge 1800 with Amber Blinking Light

We have a PowerEdge 1800 server whose system status indicator recently started blinking with an amber color. Running the system diagnostics from the computer's utility partition, it lists error code 2900:0221. Here are the specific message included with that:

Power Supply: Power Supply Senor (Status) Failure
Power Supply: Power Supply Sensor (Status) Power Supply A/C lost
System board: Power Supply Sensor (PS Redundancy) redundancy lost

Checking both power supplies, their green indicators are lit. The server exhibits no problems while using it. What can we do to further troubleshoot the error? Also, we had a major power outage recently and the error indicator appeared after that. We then discovered that the UPC battery backup unit connected to the computer was no longer working properly. The server exhibits the error whether it is connected directly to the wall or our new UPC battery backup unit.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions that can be provided.

It is possible the error is still in the hardware logs causing the amber light even after power has been restored to the power supply. I suggest clearing out the hardware logs using the Dell System E-Support Tool (DSET).

DSET can be found at this address http://support.dell.com/dset  After downloading and running the application the second option to clear the hardware logs.

That seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you for the assistance.
