Then it isn't working. It is also not intended to work on Windows 7. It is only intended to run on Server OS's.

Hello

Installed but not allow us to use local administrator account for the logon.

As Flash pointed out, it is not supported on Win7, so it may not work. Sometimes the browser will pop up with a login prompt. Logging into that popup will not work. If you are getting a popup window asking for a user/pass then simply close that window and login using the user/pass prompts in the browser window.

If that still does not work then make sure you are not putting a check into the domain login option. If it is still not working then try local\username, localhost\username, or domain\username instead of just a username in the username field.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

Would we remote from other server to this (T410) and then check the hardware status ?

You can remote into an iDRAC remotely if you have it configured to do so. Remote management and monitoring from an OpenManage utility will require OMSA installed locally on the system. Some of our remote management utilities like OpenManage Essentials or OpenManage Enterprise can provide limited management and monitoring functionality with only an iDRAC connection.

I'm curious as to what status for what hardware you're interested in looking at winthin a client OS like Win7?

Since you have a client OS installed, presumably there will be a person sitting in front of the computer which will be shut down and booted up often, maybe daily. In such cases, whenever one needs to look at hardware status, maybe you can press function key F10 at boot and select system services.

If all you want to do is look at raid status, just download SAS Storage Manager for an appropriate Precision workstation that has the same RAID card as you do (maybe this is OK).

The reality is, if you have a client OS, the iDRAC, and the poor embedded video is usless to you. All you'd need is a working PCIe graphics card (problematic) and SAS SM and you'd be good to go...
