The amber light indicates an error reported by the BMC. To find out what the error is you need to view the System Event Log in the BMC. You can boot to the BMC BIOS via CTL+E. There is an option for System Event Log on the main page. When you select that option there is an option to view or clear the log. View the log to find out what the error is. If it is an error that has been corrected then clear the system event log to get the light to stop blinking amber.
