Poweredge M620 factory reset and disk wipe
Good afternoon All
Please can someone point me in the right direction, I have 4 M620 blades in a M1000e enclosure - I need to remove the OS and set back to factory defaults. I have googled but all I am finding is how to reset the idrac - I will also need to do that after I have a blank blade.

I think the "Repurpose or Retire" is what you are looking for.

To delete the data on the hard drives you could create a dissimilar array and do a Full Initialization.
Say you have a RAID1
Boot in to the controller and delete the virtual disk. Then make a single drive RAID0 on each of the drives and do Full Initialization on the RAID0's.
