Poweredge T620 Virtual Machine

I have a Dell Poweredge T620 server that is running 2 virtual machines.

VM #1 is up and running, no problems, can access with VMware software and the programs it is running are up and working.

VM #2 does not show as running, once I go through the Control/Alt/Delete command, I reach a black screen.  I can see the cursor moving, but have no visual to be able to log in or anything.  I have tried rebooting the VM, I have power-cycled the entire physical machine (including disconnecting the power cord), and still cannot access this machine.  This is a business critical machine, as it runs my company email and online ordering processes.

What could be causing the issue with the black screen?  How can this be fixed?

Hi,

What OS is the VM running? It sounds like an OS issue with that VM, do you have a backup of that VM you can deploy?

We are running Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit.  We have a backup, I will have to see what my network group says about getting a new VM deployed.  Thank you for the idea.
