R410 stuck at splash screen (after reboot due to Windows Server 2012 R2 monthly patch update)
Hallo,
The server is stuck at boot splash screen, no chance to even reach F2/F10/...
LEDs indicate 2-3-4 (USB problem), even when no USB devices are attached => so I think it's probably something else.
I read in another post (about R710) to remove a lot of components and reinsert them one by one.
Is this advice valid for R410 also? Other suggestions, ideas?
Thanks for any useful reply, would like to resolve this ASAP.
Best,
Bavo Bostoen

Hello
Yes, no POST troubleshooting is relevant. If the system is not making it past the BIOS splash screen then it is not completing POST. The operating system and drivers should not be loading at that point, so you are troubleshooting a hardware issue. Here is an article on no POST troubleshooting.
