R430 BroadCom / QLogic 57810 10GbE substitute?

My company bought three R430 servers with BroadCom/QLogic 57810 10GbE NIC 2 years ago. Till now the NICs failed several times, caused several downtimes and I feel like the 57810 is prone to overheat. I admit that my datacenter is a bit too warm (normally 24 degree Celsius), but none other NIC has gone so wrong in company history. (even two 57810S in another brand of server)

I wonder if anyone has a similar experience, and if I can purchase substitutes for the 10GbE (either RJ45 or SFP DA), which should I choose?

JustNobody,

The R430 has several NICs along the lines you requested, such as Intel 10g RJ45 (part 3DFV8) or the 10g SFP DA (part YHTD6), but it will come down to your preference on which.

Hope this helps.
