R610 Riser Cards
Dear Support,
I would like to ask if riser cards are by default installed on R610. The server is located at a remote location and I cannot find/view this information from DRAC or OMSA.
I as saw from other informational sources and this forum, server does not POST if not both risers are not installed.

Hello.
The R610 may come with 2 expansion riser cards, the center and left riser. Within the iDRAC interface and under System, this information can be viewed under System Inventory.
Yes, you will need atleat 1 riser card for the system to POST under minimum hardware configuration

Thank you for the information. However, I cannot see the risers in DRAC. I attached the System Inventory for you.

Looks like there is no logic to the risers on R610. However, you may may physically inspect for riser 1 which is installed between the processors and riser 2 very close to the power supply. See diagram below where labels 4 &6 represent risers 1 &2 respectively. What issue are you having with the server?
