Hi 2ndSource.
The latest iDRAC firmware for R620 is 2.65.65.65. As it seems you have a very old firmware, so I recommend performing staged updates (like 1.66.65 -> 2.10.10.10 -> 2.30.30.30 -> 2.65.65.65).
Regarding the Lifecycle Controller, you first should update it to the latest version when it was separated from iDRAC.
Here's the link: https://dell.to/2FClOjM
OR
You decide for the platform-specific bootable ISO: https://dell.to/3iAn4CL
with this ISO you update all components at once. For more guidance check out the related article Update PowerEdge Servers with Platform Specific Bootable ISO (SLN296511).
Let me know if this solved the issue.
Best regards,
Stefan

Hello,
which file did you download?
Did you tried the method with firmimg.d7, described in this conversation?
Thanks
Marco

Hi,
i tried the following updates (and a few in between them and the current)
Dell LifeCycle Controller, Version 2 1.1.1
https://www.dell.com/support/home/de-de/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=74h61&productcode=poweredge-r620&oscode=ws8r2
iDRAC 1.31.30
https://www.dell.com/support/home/de-de/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=nv7km&productcode=poweredge-r620&oscode=ws8r2
if i try the iDRAC with Lifecycle Controller, Version 2.65.65.65 , no matter if i use the .exe or extract the firmimg.d7 i will always get the same error. Also with the old versions.
