R650 1 CPU config, still searching for CPU 2

Question

Hello, running into an issue with a PowerEdge r650. The unit previously had 2 CPUs, going down to one CPU with 96gb of ram. After repurposing via lifecycle, the unit continues to error out with searching for the 2nd cpu. No ram is installed on cpu 2 side. Is there a setting somewhere i need to enable/disable to bypass searching for the 2nd cpu?

Seems I've figured it out. There is an iDrac settings in BIOS which allows the current configuration to become a valid configuration, once that was checked the device booted like normal.

Can you share more details on the error message. Is the error seen during POST? If possible share the picture of the message. Can you check Logs in iDRAC and see whether it have any relevant information. All system configuration does not support single CPU. Can you remove all risers from the server and check the behavior

The error shows right before entering BIOS. The error is HMC8010: The System Configuration Check operation resulted in the following issue: Config missing: CPU 2. Logs in iDrac mention missing cpu2 but nothing else. Ive also booted the device without riser 4 but that resulted in a error for riser 4 missing as well as CPU 2.
