R730 wont start up
Team, any idea why 2 of my R730 servers won't boot after a prolong spell in a cold ISO container - shipped from Auz 3 months ago. They were fine in sunny Auz in Nov 18 but now back in UK they don't respond.
The PSU looks good (I've also tried the spare); the iDRAC interface GUI looks good - no alerts or errors. When I push the power on button nothing a happens. There is a BITE message on the front LCD that states " VT2040 System Board voltage out of range"
I've removed the servers from the ISO container and brought them into a warm lab.
Any ideas?

Hello
I would start by re-seating cables and devices that may have come loose during shipping. If that does not resolve the issue then you should troubleshoot it as a no POST no power situation by trying to fault isolate possible hardware failures. Here is an article:

Daniel, thanks I'll give it a try. Still think its unlikely that 2 servers would be showing the same symptoms.
