Recover OS from Symantec Backup Exec 12.0 on Poweredge 2650

Hi

We have Poweredge 2650 with WIN2000 Server SP4.

The server was completely crashed and the RAID 1 inklusive OS were lost .

We have created a new RAID1 and now we would like to recover WIN2000 Server from the backup using Symantec Backup Exec 12.0.

Now we try to setup a dummy WIN2000 server with Backup Exec Agent to recover the OS, but cannot find a Hard Disk.

Howto install WIN2000 on Poweredge 2650?

You need the driver for the storage/RAID controller (probably the PERC 3/Di):

Thx, but howto install this RAID driver without a floppy drive on Poweredge 2650?

BTW what about OM_5.3.0.1_SCA_A00.ISO, is it helpfull to install WIN2000?

You might be able to use nLiteOS.com to integrate that RAID driver into your installation media (it will create a new CD).

No, the file you listed will not help, but SBUU (Systems Build and Update Utility) can assist in installing the OS:

Your 2000 media MUST have SP4 on it though.
