T320 POWEREDGE TO WORKSTATION

We have gone from a server based office to cloud and don't need our T320 server any longer.

One of our Optiplex 7010 desktops died last week and wondered if anyone has tried converting the T320 to a workstation installing Windows 10 Pro with any success ?

Just thought it might save us some money than buying a new workstation. Employee is not a power user and just needs basic functionality.

Thanks in advance

Hi Randy,

The T320 doesn't support non-server OSs, so Windows 10 Pro may install but the lack of driver availability is likely to cause issues. The operating system drop-down on this page lists every OS the T320 supports: https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/SupportedOS/poweredge-t320

Whatever OS you decide to go with, I would make sure drivers are available for your system's current hardware configuration. You can check this on the page linked above. Also if you'd like to send me a private message with the T320's service tag and the OS in question I can check this for you.

Thanks,
