Unable to re-install Windows SBS 2011 on PowerEdge T110 II
I need to re-configure a server that was hit with Ransomware. I am trying to re-install SBS 2011 and have hit multiple obstacles using the CD that was provided with the server. First, off, when I try to re-install, there are no drives available. I am sure this is a driver issue for the Raid controller. I downloaded the driver and extracted to a flash drive however, the flash drive is not an option when browsing for the driver. I rebooted and disabled RAID mode and decided I would use a single drive. I was able to set up but since SBS cannot find a network driver, it will not continue. Once again, I am sure it is a driver issue but there is nowhere to browse to the driver.
Looks like I am dead in the water but how would anyone ever be able to re-install the OS with these limitations?
Tony

Make sure the flash drive in in the system when it boots, check BIOS settings to make sure USB is enabled WITH BIOS support. You could also try moving the entire installer to USB so the drivers are on the same media. Alternatively, you *may* be able to install SBS using the SBUU/SMTD tools to install the OS.
