Unlocking chasis PowerEdge 1900
I feel silly posting this message. But how can I unlock chasis of my PE 1900?

I don't have a 1900 in front of me to look at, but I beleive that there is a slider type latch either at the top of the front bezel or at the bottom thta slides to one side to relase the front.
If the slider does nothing then perhaps it is locked with the key.

I can see slide button on the sides but that only opens up the complete chasis but not the front panel.

So you're referring to the faceplate that clips onto the front of the system? That has a lock on it?
With the faceplate unlocked, press the left (or right, or both) side(s) of the faceplate to unclip it from the front of the system.
