Upgrading from xeon single to dual core in PE2800 will I also need to upgrade my heatsink?
I currently have a 2800 tower with the single core xeon processor and the factory heatsink. I'm upgrading to a dual core xeon 2.8 from ebay

My question is will I have to change my heatsink? Are the two processors the same height? Will the heatsink make contact with the processor?
The only reason I ask is because I remember reading something to that effect but I can't remember where.

You will need these heatsinks if the previous processors were Irwindale or Nocona, since they are taller processors:

It turns out that's exactly what was in my 2800. I thought I'd check just to make sure and sure enough it already had the TD634. I've since installed one of the processors and am waiting on funds to afford the second heatsink so I can install the second CPU. Thanks guys.
