VRTX and MD1400 on SPERC8
does anyone know if MD1400 and MD1420 works on a shared PERC8 controller in VRTX, the manual does only mention MD1200 and MD1220 but as these are disk enclosures i cannot see why it should not work.
if someone has tried it or has additional info i be happy to hear it.

You can’t use a shared perc for both your MD400 & MD1420. Here is a link to the support matrix for your MD14xx, & if you look on page 8 we list out the supported controllers. https://dell.to/37yHHcc
