Would nvidia GPU A100 80GB work on a Dell PowerEdge R740xd?
Hi all
the A100 80GB is certified to work on R750 models
whereas the A100 40GB version is certified for the R740xd model.
Would A100 80GB work on a Dell PowerEdge R740xd or should I expect issues?

Hello faacchi,
I do see where Nvidia has certified the A100 80G for the R750.
Unfortunately I cannot guarantee it would work in the R740xd.
For the R740xd, at this time, both our parts database and the NVIDIA support page only shows the A100 40G validated.
