iDRAC firmware upgrade "No space left on device"

Hello,

i'm trying to update an old R610 server using a ISO image made with Dell Repository Manager.
The firmware and bios are updated now but i can't update iDRAC firmware.

I also tried to upgrade iDRAC firmware with racadm (ssh). With this procedure I have the following error :

/admin1-> racadm fwupdate -g -u -a 10.51.20.62
Preparing for firmware update. Please wait...tftp: write error: No space left on device
Firmware update is not currently in progress

Do you have an idea to solve this ?

Thanks!

Hello Benjamin

Make sure the iDRAC and LCC are fully initialized before trying to update. You need to allow the system to boot up. Try updating through the iDRAC web interface. Connect to the iDRAC embedded web server and go to iDRAC Settings>Update and Rollback. Use the Windows 32 bit DUP to perform the update. You can direct it to the file location on the system you are connected to the web browser from. It will transfer the file from your computer to the system.

Hello,
thanks Daniel,
The problem is solved.
To upgrade to version 1.97 I flashed the firmware to version 1.3, then 1.4, then 1.5 and finally 1.9...

Best  regards
