iDRAC9 Lifecycle not seeing USB Media

I have a brand new T340 with iDRAC9 Enterprise and i'm trying to run through lifecycle to deploy the OS and it wont see the USB media.  I have tried using the internal usb port (prefer that one) and tried the external ones but no workie.  I have done simple NTFS format to the stick and put the ISO on it no work.  Made a full bootable using both mbr and gpt still doesn't work.  I'm using a vol ISO which does work through the iDRAC console virtual media....   Any thoughts?  The whole point is to have an onboard USB with the ISO on it to speed rebuilding.

Hello

It sounds like you you are trying to use an image file that is on a USB storage device. If that is the case then you need to use something like Microsoft's USB preparation tool to properly format the USB device. The LCC is not going to mount the image so that it can be read. It needs to be in a readable format by the LCC. You can find iDRAC/LCC documentation on the support page.

Also, if you are using volume license media the LCC may not recognize it properly. I'm not aware of this behavior changing.
