would like to be sure, that I can use 800gb ssd on R610
dear all
i would like to replace sas 300gb HDD to DELL VDPRV INTEL S3500 Series 800GB SATA SSD
i'm not sure about compatibility? because server is old one, but ssd is not on the list of supported - ssd just for r620...
please advise

Hi,
If it is not on the supported list, we have not validated it. Most likely it will work. You cannot mix SAS and SSD in the same virtual disk, so if you are replacing the 300GB drive and it is in an array you cannot use the SSD.

I have no plan to mix ssd and sas drive
it will be just two ssd:
1 option 2 x 800gb raid 1
2 option 2 x 480gb raid 1
