BSOD after updating Broadcom Drivers

I'm running Server 2008 R2 standard on a Poweredge R720 with Broadcom Netextreme Gig Ethernet nics.

I'm trying to get them teamed together using Broadcom's BACS4 app with no success. The drivers for the nics are well out of date, so I downloaded the most recent one from Broadcom's website and after updating, I cant load my OS with out getting Blue Screened.

Is this a known issue? Any tips or insight would be most appreciated.

5280User,

Likely the issue is with the driver you got from Broadcom.  Would you go ahead remove the driver via the Device Mgr, then with this download you can load the latest supported driver for the server. While doing this, if you have the ability to reboot, you can also run the firmware update for the Broadcoms as well.

Let me know if that resolves the BSOD for you.

If you can not load the OS, hit F8 at machine start (advanced startup options), then choose "Last known good". This should allow startup with the previous driver.
