Debian Display Driver for PowerEdge T320
My display is very slow on a Debian, so I guess I have a display driver problem.
What driver shall use on a Debian 7 for a PowerEdge T320?
The card info is:
Matrox Electronics Systems Ltd. G200eR2 [102b:0534]
You would help me with an answser:emotion-4:

No because it says
This package provides the driver for the video and is supported on the 12G PowerEdge family of products running the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 64-bit Operating System.
I'm on Debian and I do not want to "break" my system

Have you tried the Linux drivers from support.dell.com for the T320?

I have solved my problem by using the vesa driver instead of the mga in the xorg.conf. The speed is now fine.

I'm not a Linux guy, so I'm not sure what to tell you, but you are running an OS that Dell does not support on the T320, so ANY driver you try may "break" your system. Since there are no validated drivers, it's up to you to try one (or not) ... you can try the SUSE version from Dell (which probably has a higher probability of working) or try a legacy driver from Matrox.

Patrice,
Can you share the changes you have made? Once I create the xorg.conf file to tell Xorg tu use the vesa driver, I'm no longer able to set the correct resolution for my monitor.

Yes, I did it and I can no longer use the 1440x900 resolution and it doesn't recognizes my monitor model (it's fine with the mga drivers). Could you share you entire xorg.conf file?
Thanks

This is normal, you will not be able to get such resolution with VESA.
Only 1024x768 or smaller
