Dell PE R630 on Ubuntu 18.04
Hi,
my system runs on ubuntu 16.04 LTS this is a supported certified OS for PowerEdge R630. I have to update the system to 18.04. but the PowerEdge 18.04 does not support (is not certificated) for this just R640 is. I cant buy a new one it is just 3 years old but also i cant find driver for ubuntu 18.04.. What do you think there are risks to update ubuntu to 18.04?

Hello,
You're correct about 18.04 being unsupported, but I don't think you'll be at any risk in updating to it. I expect it would probably work fine. If you're worried about it, I can try loading 18.04 on one of my lab systems, but it may take some time to get back too you, if you would want me to test.
