Dell Utility Partition
I have requirements do to security I need to either convert the Dell Utility Partition from FAT to NTFS, or I have I to delete it from the server.
Can I do either on a production server without causing any issues?
If so what is the best way to do it.
I know the partition is important, but like I said my requirements are that I have to covert it to NTFS or Delete it.
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,
The Utility Partition is convenient, but not really important. It merely houses diagnostics and management tools, but these are all available on the website.
You could change it to NTFS with no problems, except to disable its functionality. You could also delete the Utility Partition, but you would also have to modify the Boot.ini to point to the new ARC path.
