Quite simple,

connect two disks (identical, or of the same size if not same brand|model) into one Linux system, boot it up and run dd tool, or dd_rescue if one has few data|sectors errors.

MEGASPI2.SYS   - AMI Perc 4/DI

Then you add in an IDE drive on a PCI controller with its own bios. Or a scsi controller that has dos drivers.

OR
