Inaccessible PC over Windows Server 2003 Network (PowerEdge 2800)
I have a computer, which is used for network printing, on my Windows Server 2003 network that will not let me access it and I am almost positive it is linked to a recent server crash. When I try to access the PC through network neighborhood I keep getting the message “\\pcname is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of the server to find out.” The funny thing is that when I had problem accessing another PC on my network, it would give me the dialog box for a username and password. Then I would log in and it would be fine. I only get the error dialog box now. If I could somehow go to the computer and get it to allow the server to login, I believe the problem should be solved.
Overview of Crash
Recently, I had one of my servers go down and the Dell tech ended up replacing in the RAID memory, the riser, and a battery for the RAID (Can't remember the exact name). When the server was finally rebooted a very large file, from a startup program, was created and filled up the entire HDD. Because of this I had trouble logging into my profile and a new/side profile was created. The reason I bring this up is because I believe it created a new instance or a slight change and that may be the reason the networked PC is not letting me in. Basically, it doesn't completely recognize my server because of the different profile.

Workgroup or domain?
Sounds like you had some file corruption.
"I believe it created a new instance " If it is a new instance, then you need to completely setup the machine again. A new profile creation make a new instance sound plausible.
Assume you now have at least a Gig of space on the drive.
"\\pcname is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource"
What are your share permissions on the drive? If you substitute the IP address of the machine for the computer name do you get the same results.
