Doubt that you will find any 2003 drivers. You could try an XP driver and see if that works. Other than that, 2003 most likely wouldn't work on that system.
I had the same issue today 1/28/09 while trying to installed Windows 2003 Server R2 on a Dell OptiPlex 330. There is a setting in the Bios that changes the HD controller to operate as ATA.
Here's How:
Enter BIOS --> Drivers --> Sata Operation change from "RAID Autodetect / AHCI" TO "RAID Autodetect / ATA". Don't forget to save your changes. Making that change worked for me. I tried returning the BIOS setting to the original configuration, but the PC kept rebooting after doing so. I changed it back and all is well.
I have never been able to switch back to AHCI mode, even if I install the drivers. The only way I know is to get the drivers press f6 I think during installation and load sata drivers, then install.

You can also try Intel's site. As the 330 has an Intel G31 chipset

you can look for a Windows 2003 chipset/SATA driver on Intel's site and see how far that gets you.

I hope that helps someone.

Would it be possible to switch the mode of operation back to "RAID Autodetect / AHCI"after installing the SATA drivers in Windows?

I installed last night using the above method, switch to ATA mode.
