NT4 unattended install with PERC4 ?
Let me qualify all of this by stating that my client has a requirement for NT 4.0 server. Sorry, folks.
I want to use unattended setup to take advantage of the ExtendOEMPartition function (7.8GB system partition), and install NT4.0 from a network share. I cannot get the install to recognize the controller and/or hard drive. I have the PERC4 drivers copied into $OEM$\textmode directory and am using the following syntax:
[Unattended]
OEMPreinstall = Yes
FileSystem = ConvertNTFS
ExtendOEMPartition = 1
[MassStorageDrivers]
"PERC4 Series ; PERC3 Series; PERC2 Series Windows NT Driver" = "OEM"
[OEMBootFiles]
pedge3.sys
oemsetup.inf
txtsetup.oem
I am using command line WINNT /u:n:\unattend.txt /s:n:\os\i386
I receive an error that no locally attached disks are available etc. I believe this is because the additional drivers cannot be loaded.
Any ideas ?
Thanks.
