OpenManage Server Assistant and PowerEdge 1950

Hi.

 

I've got some Dell PowerEdge 1950 out the box (i.e. I have not changed anything since it shipped). When I turned one on for the first time a friendly Dell screen with pictures came up saying that I must insert the "Installation and Server Management" CD which came with the server. I did this and restarted the server. After a whole bunch of loading and then my having to accept the EULA it eventually got to this screen:

The text in the middle says "Loading........................" with the the ellipses extending repeatedly (i.e. it is not jammed) and the mouse being able to move.

 

I have left this loading for an entire weekend, but the same screen just stuck. There are some buttons at the top which I can click, but they provide nop useful information.

 

Is there something that I have not done? The manuals say nothing, well at least what I read.

 

I have managed to install Windows Server 2003 x64 without using the Installation and Server Management CD, but I'd rather install Windows using this Dell CD.
