PowerEdge R610.. Does it support OpenStack
Hi,
I would like to know if PowerEdge R610 support Ubuntu or CentOS Openstack?
If yes, what version? hoes it support Havana?
Also any recommendation, such as firmware, driver, RAID configuration etc..
Currently version
BIOS 6.3.0
Firmware 1.70(build 21)

Hi Akram,
The R610 does support Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, CentOS is not officially supported but since it is based on RHEL which is supported it should work. Openstack is a software suite that runs inside the OS, so it will work as long as the OS does. http://www.ubuntu.com/cloud/ubuntu-openstack
For the firmware revisions we would recommend updating to the latest versions. The easiest way to do that is to is to boot to the lifecycle controller with F10 during POST and choosing the platform update option.
