PowerEdge R730 not Detecting SSD
I recently bought a refurbished Dell PowerEdge R730. For whatever reason I have been unable to get it to recognise either of the 2 brand new 1TB Samsung 860 EVO SATA SSDS I connect to it. The green light turns on when I plug it into the hard drive day, but it still doesn't show up, even in the RAID configuration menu.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The issue you're having is likely due to the fact that the drives aren't supported in the R730, this is because the drives are intended to be used in desktop/laptop/NAS, not Enterprise servers.
