Thanks for reply. My controler is PERC S100 and my disks are Seagate Barracuda 1x 500GB and 1x 1TB (one 500GB came bad so had to switch to one I had - the are all new. Is that problem, that one is 500 GB and other 1TB?). Yea, I installed 20-30 drivers, and I think now I finally got the right one. Restoration is in progress so we will see in couple of hours. But even if it fails, that is another problem then... Thanks again!
Did you get it taken care of? I saw your post where things looked good, but this last one that just says, "Update" has me wanting to check in to see if you needed any further help.
Well, I did clean installation of Win Server 2008 OS and it worked, booted normally (I'm sory I did not try BIOS and Firmware update than -maybe it would start to work with old disks).
But, I had Veeam Bare-Metal backup and decided to try that. After some tweaks and few restarts and errors while booting, it finally entered first safe mode, and after that it booted normally. (any ideas why after Win system recovery it still did could not see disks, but after Veeam it did)?
So, now everything is working. Well et least I learned some things! :) (now playing with Dell Repository Manager...).
One again, thanks for everything. If I ever get stuck again I know where to ask!

Drivers. Which storage controller are you using?
Could also happen if you are using cheap consumer disks that don't know how to talk to a RAID controller.
