Hi, a common problem when installing Windows Server 2003 is missing drivers for the RAID controller.  Are you using onboard RAID or do you have a SAS/PERC card installed at all?

You will need to verify what version of Windows Server 2003 you are trying to install.  Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 is needed to complete the installation successfully.  Here is a link to the T110 manual and you can see the list of Supported Operating Systems on page 8.

Thanks,

Sorry ... was reading two posts too close together ... sorry about the suggestion you use the SMTD DVD (you are :)).  In any event, the first paragraph was directed at you ... SP2 IS required, especially for use with SMTD (although it will usually spit your media out saying it is the wrong media if it doesn't have SP2).

As Willy said, SP2 will be required, so if you have a 2003 R2 disk with SP1, then you will need to use nLiteOS.com to integrate SP2 into your installation media.

Another option would be to attempt to install using the OpenManage DVD (SMTD) that came with the server.  The latest version of SMTD or SBUU can be downloaded from support.dell.com.
