R310 Not booting from Disc Drive
Hello I have a Dell PowerEdge R310. I am trying to load Win server 2008R2. when I insert disc System displays Unsupported System Detected. I then tried the Dell CD's shipped with unit and get the Same Errors. I have updated the BIOS. Still have the same issue. Can Someone please help. I am Also unable to load anything from the USC, I have only been successful in applying any changes in FreeDOS. though any suggestions would be Great.

I would like to install lifecycle but cant find a way to install from bios. i also thought that maybe my drivers may need to be updated but cant find a bios file.

Can you please assist me in how i am to load the fireware updates. over thte last week i have got the iso downloaded. file is almost 20 gig. I do not have access to a blueray burner and my R310 drive is dvd.
I have tried to use the dell DDDP tool only good for a 2 gb partition. i have dparted a drive and tried that way. I have also tried to boot from FreeDos with no luck. Is there a way to install lifecycle without an OS. I can access the the Unified Server configurator but only have an option to deploy OS and hardware diagnostics. Please help
