Re: ***** Problem installing Windows Server 2003 - Enterprise Edition
Hello,
I need help from you people :)
I purchased a Dell PowerEdge 2950 server with a license for Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 English version.
Unfortunately, the seller did not have the media CD containing the operating system.
I have only a license sticker on the server (COA) and the proof of purchasing a server with operating system in the form of an invoice.
Salesman told me to contact Dell to obtain a copy of the media CD.
Dell unfortunately no longer has CDs with Windows 2003,
They only have Windows 2008.
Unfortunately, as I said, I can’t get a copy of system from Dell because they even can’t order it from Microsoft because it is an old operating system, and when I phoned to Microsoft, they told me to contact Dell due to the fact that the system is an OEM version of DELL.
I’m kindly ask you to provide me access to the media in any way, even in downloadable ISO image:
DELL OEM WINDOWS SERVER 2003 R2 ENTERPRISE 1-8CPU 25 CLT ENG
Best Regards
Bartosz

I moved your post to a new thread, as the others you posted to were different systems, and probably irrelevant to your situation.
This is not an official avenue of support with Dell (cases are not created, personal/system identification data is not exchanged, etc.). Dell no longer stocks 2003 media (regardless of the channel of support you use).
Your options:
1. Buy a Dell installation CD online (eBay, media stores that pop up from time to time, etc.).
2. Borrow one from another system, a friend, etc. You might try a local IT consulting firm or tech shop, as they often collect copies of the media through their work experience.
