Redhat Linux 6.2 Multipath driver for Dell Power Edge M620
Hi Team,
i have installed RHEL6.2 on Dell PE M620 server with Emulex 8Gbps and mapped few luns from Dell MD3600F .after mapping the luns ,server started throwing I/O error while booting and it is searching all luns blk 0 including passive path as well and taking long hours to boot it up
I have installed Dell Mulitpath drivers as well,after dell multipth driver ,my server not booting up and going to maintenance mode ..Any one have such exp or any clue how to sort it out

hi,
i have tried RHEL6.1 also ..but installing the MPIO drivers system not booting up as usual and it is getting in to maintenance mode ..
is there any way to byepass passive I/O path checking while booting up ?..as i feel the buffer I/O errors due to passive path check

RHEL 6.2 doesn't seem to be listed on the MD3600F's support matrix (support.dell.com/.../index.htm) at this time. You may want to try 6.1 or wait till Dell updates the support matrix (and probably releases a new resource CD with updated MPIO drivers for RHEL 6.2).
