Reinstall OS on PowerEdge R300

I need to reinstall Windows 2003 on my R300 Server.  Controller is Dell SA6/IR.     When I tried to install Windows 2003 the  other day it kept saying no hard drive found.   Looking in these forum's I've seen posts refering to the Raid Controller and the System's Build DIsk.  I'm going back there tomorrow, and I don't want to waste my Sunday trying to find a solution to this issue.   Can anyone please verify extaclly what I need to proceed.  Thanks in advance.

The easiest way will be to boot to the Systems Management Tools and Documentation DVD that came with the system.  That way, no other drivers are needed.  After booting to the DVD, choose System Build and Update Utility, and walk through the installation wizard.  If 2003 was installed from Dell on this machine and you are reinstalling using the CD that came with it, then there should not be an issue.  If this is not a 2003 CD that came with this system, there are some things you should know about using the SMTD DVD.  2003 media must have SP2 and their may be an issue using VL media from the eopen site.

You can install directly from the Windows CD, but you will need to load the SAS 5/iR drivers from floppy at the F6 prompt after booting to the CD.  If you do not have a floppy drive (most R300's don't), you should use nLiteOS.com to integrate the driver into the Windows CD.  After it is installed, you will then need to download and install chipset, video, etc.
