Storage Server Feature Pack

Question

I have a PowerVault 2950, aka a PowerEdge 2950 running Windows Storage Server 2003 (64 bit version). I'm looking for the 'Windows Storage Server Feature Pack', which is apparently available only through OEMs. Where can I find this software? (And is there a specific version for 64-bit?) (This is the feature pack that allows an Exchange Server 2003 message store to be kept on the NAS server instead of on a local drive.) -Rick Message Edited by osterber on 01-13-200708:20 PM

My understanding was that since the feature pack is tied to Exchange and the fact that there is no x64 version of Exchange that it would not available on this product. Maybe this will change with Exchange 2007 since it is only x64.

No... the feature pack is tied to both Exchange and to the Windows Storage Server. You install components on both. -Rick

I understand what you're saying, but either way there is no x64 version of Exchange (until Exchange 2007), so there is no WSS Feature Pack for an x64 platform.

I am experiencing the same problem, I curse the day I got this 64 bit version. Neither feature pack can be installed on WSS 2003 x64 nor exchange 2003 (due to drive mapping error).   There is no help how to get exchange data on Storage server. Even when you search the word 'exchange' on the help you get no result.   Can someone from dell Support help us on how to install WSS feature pack on WSS 2003 x64 bit please?   I spent days on this matter, even went to microsoft. They point to dell...
