Upgrading PERC 6/i firmware
Hi
I monitor servers with nagios which is now complaining that the firmware is out of date on the PERC card. I downloaded a file which when extracted seems to be a collection of batch files. These files dont want to run on server 08 r2. how do i update the firmware of this controller? Is there a utility which will easily upgrade dell firmware?
Thanks

If you are running Windows, then there is an Update Package for Microsoft Windows (run and reboot). What system are we talking about here ... there are "integrated" versions and "adapter" and the firmware varies a little between them. You should also update the BIOS, ESM, and the PERC driver before updating the PERC firmware (if they are not already up to date).
