You can find out what RAID controller you have in your machine by going to www.dell.com and navigation to the support and download sections. Once you enter the download section, you will be able to enter your service tag number and select an operation system. Navigate to the RAID section and your driver should be listed. My guess is that you have a SATA controller, and to the best of my knowledge dell does not sell a SATA controller that supports RAID. There is always the option for software raid though windows.
